Punta Cana is a region known for its 32 km of beaches and crystal clear waters.
The Bavaro area and Punta Cana combine to form what is known as La Costa del Coco, or the Costa de Coco, an area of luxurious all-inclusive resorts. It is popular for cycling, zip-lining, windsurfing, kayaking, and sailing.
Punta Cana is one of the safest vacation spots in the Caribbean, so tourists can feel confident and comfortable when they leave the hotel zone to practice sports or explore.
Our route begins in the very heart of Punta Cana.
The first 25 kilometers of the route pass through a wide road with four lanes, two of which will be closed to your path so that you have the opportunity to take advantage of the customary wind in favor of the area and you can accelerate fully early .
From kilometer 26 we will enter a rural area of an intense green where you will enjoy, on the one hand, some impressive hills in the background and on the other occasionally the amazing blue Caribbean sea. This is the fastest section of the route. Although you can find yourself with intermittent moderate elevations, it is the downwind that will keep you at a very good pace for several kilometers, so at this point you can still relax and enjoy the "ride".
If you have opted for the short route, when you reach kilometer 47 it is time to turn around, but do not trust yourself as the wind you will have in front of you to the finish line is a challenge.
If, on the contrary, you have registered for the long route, then continue enjoying until km 63 where you will reach your return point starting the real challenge for this route, since all that wind that was favorable until now constitutes a challenge for the return. However, upon reaching kilometer 80 we will take a secondary road where you will find impressive landscapes and the occasional hill with relatively short elevations of between 4 and 6 degrees of elevation.
Later, when you have completed about 125 kilometers, you will reconnect with the main road where you will then resume the wide section of 4 lanes to pedal at "full steam" and reach the goal that is at the starting point.
The moment you cross under the arch, you will have lived the experience of being a PRO FOR A DAY, with the satisfaction of having fought like a true champion through a challenging route, but in one of the tourist places. most beautiful and popular on the planet.
